ssgmac > SSG Benevente being - well SSG Benevente! A/448th

ssgmac > Inside the infamous cell block at Abu Garaib prison - now left abandoned.

ssgmac > Al Sijud palace from the air. Saddam's main palace where he slept - some of the time. The wondows facing the water were 3 inches thick glass. Rooms were small but opulant.

ssgmac > As I flew back from a mission I saw a bright flash out of the side of my eye, reached into my ruck sack and dug around for my camera - by the time I got it on and aimed this is what I took - massive explosion at a police station in Baghdad.

ssgmac > Blackhawk flight crew - with a little artistic flair.

ssgmac > Lunch with the locals - early on in the mission.

ssgmac > Dome in the green zone - not a Mosque but over a gate.

ssgmac > Kirkuk visit - our convoy was hit - no one hurt and the crew was surprisingly cool afterward - a bit wired, but pretty cool.

ssgmac > The Brits make their mark in Basra.
